Where are you located?

We are on Irvine Crescent in Brunswick West, near the corner of Melville Road and Moreland Road. The exact address, for privacy reasons, will be given once a booking is confirmed.

What instruments do you teach?

We offer lessons in guitar, piano/keyboard, bass guitar, drums, music theory, music production and composition.

What do lessons cost?

$30 for half an hour or $50 for one hour.

What ages can learn?

It is never too early or late to learn music! In formal music lessons such as these, generally age 5 or 6 is acceptable as the student develops their attention and focus. Adults are absolutely welcome and encouraged! It is true that it can be harder to learn as an adult but it need not be a difficult and frustrating task. According to the ABS, 20% of adults learnt an instrument when they were younger but 70% wish they did.

Can I purchase instruments from you?

Unfortunately no, we are not a music shop. However, we can offer advice on which instruments to purchase and from where.

NOTE: Some essentials such as books, strings, picks, leads, sticks and capos will be available for purchase to ensure there is no interruption to your practice throughout the week. We purchase these items at retail price and sell them at the exact same price. You do not have to buy these from us, we only offer them for convenience.

Can you help me or my child with the VCE syllabus?

Absolutely! Simeon did VCE music and has helped many students through the curriculum. He is also kind of a nerd when it comes to music theory (but don’t tell him I said that).

Are ANZCA or AMEB exams compulsory?

Not at all. They are completely optional but recommended for a well-rounded musical education. Simeon will advise if an exam would be suitable for you or if you are ready to sit an exam.
